The Resilient Agriculture Portfolio (formerly Regenerative Innovation Portfolio) demonstrates that landscape transition at scale is possible. In a large number of landscapes, agri-food companies join forces to tackle barriers to the adoption of regenerative agriculture and enable farmers in their sourcing areas to collectively boost the regenerative transition of farmers. The support consists amongst others of access to expertise, data, off-take and finance.
The Resilient Agriculture Portfolio was developed and set-up by Foodvalley and EIT food, and is co-funded by agri-food companies and EIT Food. It was established as a Food Innovation Hub Europe Initiative.

The Portfolio works in landscapes with an ecosystem approach, where farmers, farm advisors, agri-tech providers, off-takers and other stakeholders collaborate in landscapes across Europe.
This way, the Portfolio works to:
Where relevant and possible, payments for ecosystem services, financial and technical innovations are tested in the landscapes.
A landscape is a region where stakeholders share the ambition to shift towards regenerative agriculture. We bring together companies and organisations, from farmer cooperatives and food producers to financial and water management institutions, to build this transition collectively.
Collaborating at the landscape level turns pilots into scale, and ambitions into impact. No one can transform a landscape alone, but together we can drive real change. Partnerships unite the the different food system and landscape partners around shared goals, tailored to local economic, social and ecological realities.
By aligning diverse interests into a shared vision, we all benefit. We can share costs, benefits and risks and learnings.
Join us in creating landscapes that turn regenerative ambition into action, from local fields to the European food system.

Foodvalley hosts a Regenerative Agriculture Community, where partners involved in the Resilient Agriculture Portfolio and others active in this field can share lessons learned and co-design new initiatives that help tackle the market, knowledge and financial barriers for the regenerative transition in Europe. A broad range of stakeholders can join.
For example on June 18 2026, different landscape stakeholders exchanged on the approaches towards landscape development in a Regenerative Agriculture Community session. Read more: Inside the landscapes: accelerating regenerative agriculture transition in practice – Foodvalley
