Thriving Together is a Foodvalley programme that accelerates regenerative agriculture by strengthening ecosystems at landscape level and connecting them to viable value chains.
By bringing together farmers, businesses, public actors, knowledge institutes and other enablers, Thriving Together strengthens economically viable regenerative landscapes that benefit people, nature and the economy.
Why Thriving Together?
Across Europe, regenerative agriculture is growing, but scaling remains a challenge. Many landscapes face similar barriers:
- Fragmented collaboration between actors
- Limited access to markets or fair pricing
- Gaps in financing, knowledge and coordination
- Weak connection between production and demand
At the same time, many regions have already strong regenerative practices, local initiatives and biodiversity-rich systems. What is often missing is connection, coordination and market alignment.
Thriving Together bridges this gap: connecting actors, strengthening ecosystems and enabling markets to work for regenerative agriculture.

- Aggregation, processing and marketing structures
- Collaboration between farmers, processors and buyers
- Development of regenerative sourcing models
- Market access and fair pricing for farmers
What we do
Strengthen thriving regenerative landscape ecosystems. In Thriving Together, Foodvalley acts as a neutral ecosystem orchestrator:
- Building multi-actor coalitions: aligning farmers, companies, financiers, landscape actors, CSOs and public actors around a shared ambition
- Strengthening place-based expertise hubs: support ecosystem-embedded actors that provide knowledge, infrastructure and capacity
- Unlock access to resources: enable access to expertise, finance, networks and innovation
- Facilitate value chain development: support aggregation, processing and market connections
