Goal
The strategic aim of Stichting Food Valley (Foodvalley) is to build a resilient food system that provides people with healthy, nutritious and sustainable food, while safeguarding the ecological and social systems that underpin it. To achieve this, we are committed to fostering innovations within the agri‑food sector that contribute to these broader societal goals.
Our objective is to strengthen collaboration between diverse food system actors, with a focus on collective initiatives that accelerate the transformation of the food system. This includes removing barriers that hinder the scaling of sustainable solutions and improving their uptake by established players within the system. By 2030, we aim to establish five new collaborative partnerships that support this transformation.
Director
Marjolein Brasz is the CEO of Foodvalley and leads the organisation’s strategic vision, (international)positioning and coalition-building efforts to accelerate systemic transformation of the global food system. The day-to-day leadership of the organisation sits with her, together with the execution power and expertise of the Foodvalley team.

Board members do not receive any compensation beyond reimbursement for expenses incurred. In addition to the duties as chair of the board, our chair works one day per week for Foodvalley and receives a market-based remuneration that complies with WNT regulations.
