New Food Conference
25 August 2026 – Berlin
The Protein Community will be represented by Leo Koning at the New Food Conference in Berlin, organised by ProVeg International.
The event brings together food companies, retailers, investors, policymakers, and innovators to discuss the future of alternative proteins and how the sector can scale through stronger value chain collaboration.
At the conference, we will be connecting with companies from across the food industry to discuss one of the fastest-growing categories in protein transition: balanced (hybrid) products. Foodvalley recently analysed the Dutch retail market and found that balanced meat and dairy products are rapidly gaining traction, with more retailers introducing or expanding their offerings.
We will be sharing insights from our report, Balanced Meat & Dairy in Dutch Retail: State of the Category, Q1 2026, and discussing how balanced products can help make the protein transition more accessible, affordable, and scalable for consumers.
If you’re attending the New Food Conference, feel free to connect with us and continue the conversation on the future of balanced proteins.
This activity is made possible in part by GO4EXPORT, the export program for entrepreneurs in Gelderland and Overijssel. Both provinces commission and fund the program, which is delivered by regional public and private partners, including Foodvalley.
