Join us on 18 March for Innovation Insights, an inspiring event exploring the transformative potential of fibre in food innovation.
With the theme ‘The Fibre Factor’, this edition highlights why fibre is gaining traction in key innovation areas: protein transition, circular agrifood, and health-focused food. While protein-rich products dominate the spotlight, fibre—essential for digestion and satiety—is often overlooked. At the same time, producers are unlocking new ways to upcycle fibre-rich by-products into high-value, sustainable ingredients.
Emma Schofield from Mintel – Global Market Intelligence & Research Agency will share the latest market trends around fibre-rich foods. Additionally, Martin Mei and Julia Besselink from dsm-firmenich will present insights into how pre-, pro-, and postbiotics influence the microbiome, highlighting fibre’s role. They’ll also discuss how fibre can be applied in R&D projects, balancing functionality, health benefits, and cost-effectiveness.
