One year ago…

One year ago Foodvalley launched the Global Food Upcycling Map to make the food upcycling ecosystem more visible and easier to connect.

Since then, the map has grown to:

🌍 175 actors mapped
📍 22 countries worldwide
♻️ 6 side-stream categories

But this is only the beginning.

Scaling food upcycling requires more than innovative solutions. It requires visibility, collaboration and the right connections across the value chain: from side-stream owners and technology providers to food manufacturers, ingredient companies, brands and retailers.

The Global Food Upcycling Map helps organisations find each other, explore opportunities and accelerate the transition from food side streams to valuable food ingredients.
