Overall Checkpoint Meeting
The Overall Checkpoint Meeting will provide a key progress update for all initiative partners, including consortium partners from the Bakery, Confectionery & Snacks category and the Meat & Dairy Alternatives categories as well as companies and enabling organisations not linked to a specific product‑category consortium. During this session, we will also outline the next steps as we move towards Phase 2.
We warmly invite partners and relevant stakeholders – side stream owners, technology and service providers, food and ingredient producers and retailers – to join this Overall Checkpoint Meeting and help shape the future of circular alternative protein solutions.

Building Momentum for Upcycled Food Across the Value Chain
Phase 1 of UPcycled4Food marks a milestone in building a movement for upcycled food. On 19 and 25 November, we organized two hybrid consortium meetings with around 15 participants per session, bringing together a diverse mix of Dutch and international partners.

The Bigger Picture Phase 2 will build on this foundation, delivering impact assessments and reformulation strategies that can transform the market. By aligning influential actors and fostering collaboration, the initiative is paving the way for upcycled food to become the new normal. UPcycled4Food is more than an initiative: it’s a movement.
